How to add a Sale Transaction on Terminal, Shift4 in ASI PMS 7x?

You can directly add a Sale transaction using the selected payment terminal. Follow the steps below.

This article explains how to process a Sale transaction using the Shift4 payment integration within a reservation. Follow the steps below to charge a guest using the Shift4 terminal.

  1. Open the reservation where you want to add a Sale transaction.
  2. Go to the Payment section.
  3. Select the terminal shift4_api.
  4. Enter the amount you want to add as a Sale transaction.
  5. Click Add, then click Save.
  6. After saving, the transaction amount will display on the Shift4 terminal.
  7. Select Credit or Debit on the Shift4 terminal to complete the transaction.
