How to Add a Room to Maintenance or Block a Room in ASI PMS?

When rooms require maintenance or need to be temporarily unavailable, blocking them ensures they aren’t mistakenly assigned to guests. Here’s a step-by-step guide to blocking rooms or marking them for maintenance in version 7.


  1. Go to the FrontDesk tab (on the top left side).

  2. Select Block Room.

  3. Click the Add Block Room button located at the bottom right.

  4. Choose the building, floor number, room type, and dates to be blocked.

  5. Click on Find.

  6. Select the desired Room Number(s) to be blocked or placed under maintenance.

  7. Enter a mandatory remark explaining the reason for blocking (e.g., maintenance or other purposes).

  8. Click Save to apply the Block Status to the selected rooms.

  9. The blocked rooms will be visible on the Dashboard.
