How to Add a Document for a Shared Guest in ASIPMS 7X

🔍 Question: Can we add an image of a document for a shared guest? Or do we need to upload the shared guest’s image under the main guest’s document section?

Yes, in our latest 7X version of ASIPMS, it is now possible to upload and store document images for shared guests separately. You no longer need to attach the shared guest’s ID under the main guest’s document section.


🧭 Follow the Steps Below:

  1. Open the Reservation/Check-in:

    • Navigate to the reservation or check-in screen for the guest’s room.

  2. Click on the “Miscellaneous” Tab:

    • At the top of the reservation window, locate and click on the “Miscellaneous” tab.

  3. Add Shared Guest Info:

    • On the right-hand side, you will see a ‘+’ (plus) icon. Click on it to add a new shared guest.

    • A drawer panel will slide open to allow shared guest details entry.

  4. Scan and Upload the Shared Guest’s ID:

    • In the shared guest drawer, locate the scanner icon at the top right corner (looks like a small scanner ).

    • Click on the scanner icon, select the ID Scanner model to initiate ID scanning.

    • The system will read and extract the ID data and store the image within the same window.

  5. View or Print Anytime:

    • Once the document is stored, you can view or print the scanned ID at any time directly from this section.
