How to Cancel Reservation in ASI PMS?

Canceling a reservation frees up room availability and keeps your records accurate. Here are three ways to cancel a reservation in ASI PMS (Version 7)

Method 1: From the Tape Chart view

1. Open the Room

2. Click on the “Cancel” button in the bottom-right corner

3. Done! The reservation is now cancelled

4. You can see the updates instantly reflected in the Tape Chart view as the room becomes available again

 

Method 2: From the FrontDesk Search Reservation

1. Go to Menu, then select FrontDesk, and click on Search Reservation

2. Right-click on the reservation you want to cancel

3. Click on “Cancel Reservation"

4. Done! The reservation is now cancelled

5. You can see the updates instantly reflected in the Tape Chart view as the room becomes available again

 

Method 3: From the Folio View

1. Go to Menu, then select FrontDesk, and click on Search Reservation

2. Right-click on the reservation you want to cancel and select “Open Folio”

3. Click on the “Cancel” button at the bottom-right corner.

4. Done! The reservation is now cancelled

5. You can see the updates instantly reflected in the Tape Chart view as the room becomes available again
