How to convert authenticated transaction to a Sale Transaction on Terminal, Shift4 in ASI PMS 7x?

You can charge the guest by converting the previously authenticated amount into a Sale. Follow the steps below.


Steps:

  1. Open the Folio of the reservation.

  2. Go to the Payment section.

  3. Find the Auth transaction (shown in blue).

  4. Click the Dollar ($) icon on that Auth transaction.

  5. Enter the amount you want to convert into a Sale.

  6. Click Save.

  7. The Auth transaction (blue) will change to purple, meaning it has been successfully converted to a Sale transaction.
