Setting Booking Restrictions in ASI: Version 7

Managing restrictions efficiently can help optimize bookings, control availability, and create a seamless experience across different channels. Here’s a quick guide on how to set restrictions in ASI PMS (Version 7).

Version 7: Setting Booking Restrictions

  1. Go to Restrictions in the Menu: From the main menu, select Rate & AvailabilityRestriction.
  2. Choose from Available Restrictions: Options include Soldout, Min Nights, Max Nights, Close to Arrival, and Close to Departure.
  3. Select Desired Rule Tab: Navigate to the rule tab you want to apply.
  4. Set Dates and Room Types: Specify the dates and room types for your restriction.
  5. Apply in Bulk: Use the Bulk Operation button to set restrictions for a date range.
  6. Customize Room and Rate Types: Choose the Room Type and Restriction Rule and link it to the Rate Type for the booking engine.

  • 6.2 Version: Restrictions apply to OTA rate plans mapped across all OTA channels.
  • 7X Version: Restrictions can be independently configured for each booking engine, allowing for more precise control over rates and availability by channel.
